Glamorous Beauties–Gucci Beauty debuts its first cosmetics line at Milan Fashion Week, the 19-piece collection marks its first foray into color cosmetics. The cosmetics are as modern as they are luxurious: These advanced formulations are complemented by state-of-the-art tools for precision and control, remarkable performance, and high-impact looks that radiate glamour.
Fittingly, the collection draws its inspiration from the runway. Gucci creative director Frida Giannini turned to the Gucci archives to reference textures materials, and colors. The most recurrent hues—gold, black, red, bronze, copper, and ottanio or teal green—became known as the “Iconic Six” and anchor the palettes. Future shades will reflect each season’s most current ready-to-wear colorways and fabric swatches.
